BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- Several seats on Whatcom County’s School Boards were contested in this election.
In the Bellingham School District, Steven Smith has a 52 to 48 percent lead over Rogan Jones, and Scott Stockburger leads Michael Jay 61 to 39 percent.
In the Ferndale School District, it’s Lee Anne Riddle with 54 percent over Larry Hoffman with 46 percent.
Troy Clark has 59 percent to Andrew McLaurin’s 41 percent.
Mike Havemen leads Rollo Van Slyke for a Lynden School Board spot – Haveman has over 72 percent of the vote.
