WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. -- Gusts of wind, some clocked above 50 mph, knocked out power; while rain pooled up and clogged storm drains in Whatcom County Thursday night.
Puget Sound Energy was reporting scattered power outages throughout the county.
While some urban flooding was reported, the National Weather Service cancelled its flood watch for the Nooksack River Thursday afternoon.
County officials are once again asking residents to clear storm drains and culverts near homes and businesses.
