BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- The Lummi Island Ferry will continue to have a 5-ton weight limit until further notice.
But, there is some good news.
The ferry schedule is now back to normal.
However, because of last week's damage to the Lummi Island dock, delays should be expected if winds or tides make it difficult for the ferry to get to shore.
Whatcom County officials said this will remain the case until repairs are made.
