State Patrol Seeking Help to Locate Driver in Fatal Hit and Run

WHATCOM COUNTY,Wash. -- The Washington State Patrol is asking for the public’s help in finding the driver in a fatal hit and run accident.

A car struck and killed a pedestrian on Blaine Road just before 3:00a.m. on Saturday morning.

The scene was south of the Lynden-Birch Bay Road.

A witness describes the car as a dark colored sedan and detectives believe it may have visible front-end damage.

Investigators are asking anyone with information on the car or driver involved in the fatality in Whatcom County last weekend to please contact them.
