BELLINGHAM,Wash. -- Bellingham Mayor Dan Pike delivered his first state of the city address last night, calling 2009 an interesting year that brought many economic challenges to the city.
He focused on the highlights, saying the city’s reserves are good, unemployment remains below national averages and agreements were reached on a number of issues.
In 2010, Pike expects to see new growth and increased partnerships between business and government.
