BELLINGHAM,Wash. -- The Urban Growth Areas where growth is allowed to occur around Bellingham are just fine and shouldn’t be tinkered with according to the Bellingham City Council.
Mayor Dan Pike says the UGA’s will be a topic of discussion very soon.
The city council passed a resolution last night urging the county not to make any changes to the UGA’s until after the city is done with that comprehensive plan update next year.
