Olympic Torch Makes Stops At Peace Arch Park

BLAINE,Wash. -- Governor Chris Gregoire joins British Columbia Premier Gordon Campbell for a cross border Olympic torch ceremony at about 7:15 this morning.

A Canadian relay runner will briefly hand off the torch to an American runner at Peace Arch Park.

The ceremony will mark the only time the Olympic torch relay visits the United States ahead of this year's winter games. Governor Gregoire plans to greet runners at the event.

The torch will then continue on its way to Vancouver for Friday's opening ceremonies.
